Question 1

What is a WC cubicle and why is it used?

Accepted Answer

A WC cubicle is a partition system used to provide privacy, hygiene, durability and order in toilet areas. In high-traffic projects it offers a lighter, faster-to-install and more maintenance-efficient solution than building individual walls. Compact laminate-bodied systems deliver long-lasting performance especially in wet areas.

Question 2

In which buildings are WC cubicle systems preferred?

Accepted Answer

Schools, hospitals, malls, sports facilities, industrial buildings and public projects are the main use cases, since moisture, impact, heavy traffic and easy cleaning all matter in these environments.

Question 3

Why is compact laminate WC cubicle preferred?

Accepted Answer

Because it is far more stable against water, moisture, impact and heavy use than classic wood-based alternatives, with low risk of deformation, swelling and surface degradation.

Question 4

Are WC cubicle systems hygienically safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes, with the right panel and hardware they are quite safe. Compact laminate surfaces support hygiene standards through low porosity, easy-to-clean surfaces and a design suited to heavy use.

Question 5

Are WC cubicle systems easy to clean?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Compact laminate surfaces resist everyday cleaning chemicals and are easy to clean in routine maintenance.

Question 6

Are WC cubicle systems resistant to vandalism?

Accepted Answer

Compact laminate surfaces and stainless/aluminum hardware are more resistant than standard lightweight systems, offering a real advantage in heavy public use.

Question 7

What are the standard WC cubicle dimensions?

Accepted Answer

Standard dimensions vary by project type; typically cubicle depth and width are determined based on user ergonomics, door swing and cleaning clearance. The exact size depends on the architectural plan and site layout.

Question 8

What should accessible WC cubicle dimensions be?

Accepted Answer

Accessible cubicles must be planned in line with regulations covering turning radius, approach distance, grab-bar placement and door width; accessibility measurements must always be verified per project.

Question 9

What should the WC cubicle panel thickness be?

Accepted Answer

SANDER clearly specifies 12 mm and 13 mm compact laminate panel options. The appropriate panel is selected based on usage intensity, spans and hardware type.

Question 10

Are DWG or CAD drawings available for WC cubicle systems?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SANDER's architect guide provides WC cubicle DWG, shop drawing, catalog and specification links.

Question 11

What determines WC cubicle pricing?

Accepted Answer

Quantity, panel type, hardware class, model, custom production details, installation scope and logistics conditions determine the price. Very different cost structures can exist under the same term "WC cubicle."

Question 12

Are WC cubicle systems suitable for export?

Accepted Answer

Yes; SANDER's homepage and system pages clearly state export to 26 countries, reflecting a corporate structure in packaging, technical documentation and project discipline.

Question 13

Is technical support provided for WC cubicle projects?

Accepted Answer

Yes. SANDER's WC cubicle systems page states that project-based technical documentation, sizing and application consulting are provided.

Question 14

What is compact laminate?

Accepted Answer

Compact laminate is a dense, self-supporting panel material pressed under high pressure and temperature, resistant to water and impact.

Question 15

Does compact laminate panel absorb water?

Accepted Answer

Water absorption is very low; SANDER's Multisilver page states a 24-hour water absorption value of ≤5%, making it safe for use in wet areas.

Question 16

Where is compact laminate panel used?

Accepted Answer

It is used in WC cubicles, lockers, wet-area partitions, countertop systems and some facade applications, as clearly listed on SANDER's homepage.

Question 17

What are lockers?

Accepted Answer

Lockers are modular storage systems designed for users to keep their personal belongings organized and secure. Compact laminate-bodied versions are especially preferred in demanding environments.

Question 18

Where are lockers used?

Accepted Answer

They are common in sports facilities, pools, factories, educational buildings, healthcare facilities and staff areas, as SANDER's system page clearly highlights.

Question 19

Are lockers water-resistant?

Accepted Answer

Compact laminate-based systems show high resistance to water and moisture, as clearly stated on SANDER's page.

Question 20

Are lockers modular?

Accepted Answer

Yes. They are configured modularly with different door counts, compartment numbers and usage combinations, from Z-door to multi-door variants.
